Our second time… even better than before!

The location is right on the beach next to a striking Shiva temple worth visiting.

My room was listed as having a Seaview. It did not. I was moved after the first night, but this is a misleading way to describe the room type.The Ayurvedic massage was disappointing. I paid for a two person massage, however the junior masseuse sat and watched while the other massaged me and they took turns. Not what I assumed I was paying for. All prices are in Euro. Overall, a slightly underwhelming experience.

The surrounding is very nice as is in natural setting.

The treatments are normal but a bit standardized for almost everyone. I thought they would adjust some oils or massage style, but it was not the case. Food is below average.

Resort of high standards and quality. Staff was outstanding. Very clean and fresh, spacious room, fresh linings, territory is well maintained and gorgeous nature. Food was amazing, healthy, delicious, good variety. Massages were great. Service was perfect.

Wish there were more water bottles left in the room. Can always call, but still would be nice if 2 bottles per person left in advance.

The property was well maintained

It was not clear that this was a 'hospital' where alcohol consumption is banned and all the food is vegan.

Room was absolutely lovely and very clean. 2 bottles of filtered water provided a day. Very comfortable bed and good shower.

Staff in reception were not very helpful. On more than 3 different occasions asked for their assistance with bookings and car hire. They say they will look into it and get back to you. Upon hearing nothing returned to reception and nothing had been done. It needs to be clearly explained during the booking process that this is a specialist Ayurvedic hotel and not a resort hotel. Food is limited to a specific diet and variations are not provided. Also yoga is chargeable which was not explained at the beginning. We refused to pay! Would not return or recommend

A slice of paradise — stunning grounds, superb treatment and very friendly, helpful staff. I love the food and Ayurvedic treatments and feel so much better leaving than I did arriving.

The location of the property right next to the beach was very nice

The property lacks terribly in 2 respects:1. The food here is extremely bland. It's as bland as hospital food2. The service at the resort is terribly slow. To quote an instance, I was told coconut water would take 20 minutes to be delivered.

Wonderful location. Authentic Ayurveda treatments. Tasty fresh and healthy food.

The property caters to Ayurvedic treatments and the food is entirely vegetarian for buffet breakfast because of that but for dinner or lunch you can ask the kitchen to prepare fish, chicken etc. The location is excellent and easy access to the beach.

Great value for money, perfect place to relax. Everyone was very helpful, especially the new restaurant manager. Beautiful views and private seating.

Unless you want to pay above average rates for the buffet the waiting time for food was long. Being at the beach isn’t very relaxing with men trying to sell stuff, I felt I needed to keep myself modest.

Very peaceful and clean

In one of our rooms water was leaking from the a/c unit and there was a puddle of water on the floor. My husband slipped and fell. Perhaps these units need to be serviced better.

The cleanliness ,location,staff and the Ayurveda treatment.The property is on the Beach which is very convenient. They don't use plastic bottles.The staff is well mannered.

The Ala-carte orders should not be taking so long. Many dishes were unavailable and the portions were either too much or less.

This is a wonderful ayurvedic resort to refresh and reboot. The rooms all have aircon and the place is tranquil. The setting by the sea is particularly beautiful. The staff is incredibly kind and considerate. This place is well suited for solo travellers as it is easy to meet other people.

It would be good to sort out the Wifi and ensure it works all over the resort.

The booking process was confusing

on arrival i was placed in a different resort of sun category (soma palmshore) which I did not understand at all .I was taken on long taxi ride the next day to my booked resort to meet with doctors… still did not understand. after some hours I asked to see the managers as I was physically n emotionally exhausted by then… he told me the resort was full and my reservation had been double booked. do at first I had to stay in the other resort a lot less confortable. I was offered last 4 nights at Manaltheeram but would have to change rooms. my one week stay was to rest deeply and all this changes did not feel restful . do I opted for last 2 nights in a lovely cottage at Manaltheeram. but disappointed I did not get to experience my whole week there as booked
